We collect only information essential to providing tailoring record-keeping, cutting slip generation, and order delivery tracking:

• Tailor Profile & Login Data: Boutique/Shop name, owner’s 10-digit mobile number, and password for account authentication and data isolation.
• Customer Measurements & Orders: Customer name, phone number, garment outfit category (Shirt, Pant, Kurti, Blouse, Safari, etc.), body measurement dimensions (in inches), delivery dates, total stitching charges, and advance payments.
• Photos / Reference Media: Photographs of customer fabric swatches, lace trims, and dress design references uploaded explicitly by the tailor using their device camera or image gallery.
• Device Diagnostics & Log Data: Anonymous device logs such as operating system version, device model, and crash diagnostic data used exclusively for bug fixes and app performance.

3 Device Permissions

Our Android app may request specific device permissions only when required for explicit user features:

• Camera Permission (android.permission.CAMERA): Used solely when you tap the camera button to photograph garment fabric swatches or design samples. We never access your camera in the background.
• Storage / Photos Permission: Used solely to allow you to select design reference pictures from your phone gallery and save measurement cutting slips.
• Local Device Cache (Offline Support): We store temporary measurement entries in your phone’s local cache so you can continue recording measurements even without active internet coverage.

The app utilizes reputable third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for advertisement, stability, and notifications:

5 Data Confidentiality & Zero Selling

We treat tailor measurement databases with the utmost confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease tailor accounts, client mobile numbers, or measurement records to any third-party marketing brokers. Direct WhatsApp measurement slips and delivery notifications are dispatched exclusively when manually triggered by the tailor.

6 Data Retention & Account Deletion Mechanism

Tailors Book retains your account records as long as your account remains active. Under Google Play Store User Data and Account Deletion policies, you may request account deletion at any time directly through our web interface:

7 Security Practices

We implement commercial best-practice security measures to safeguard your data. All network communications between the mobile application and our servers are encrypted using standard Transport Layer Security (HTTPS / SSL). Access to administrative databases is strictly restricted.

8 Children’s Privacy

Our Service is intended for professional tailors, boutique proprietors, and adult cutters. It does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove the data.

9 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to maintain alignment with Google Play developer policies and local regulations. You are advised to review this page periodically for updates. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to this page.
